I didn't like the car they built, the fake split window looked out of place as did the analogue gauges.

I sure wasn’t impressed. What was the point except trying to get publicity.

I appreciate the effort ...but no.

Poorly conceived and executed IMHO. Build the "missing" '83 Vette as it could have been.

They had the designer from the period....David McLellan right there.

                1) They didn't bother asking him what the intentions were for the 83 Vette?
                2) They had access to the last remaining "83 "test" Corvette at the Corvette museum... they did not use that as inspiration?
                3) They put together a mish-mash hodge-podge assortment of "dream" parts and features that simply do not work together and would never have been on the '83 Vette.
                4) The simple truth is that the 1983 Vette can be easily seen today as the 1984 Corvette. I am sure it was the same design with maybe some minor tweaks. I am sure they didn't scrap the '83 anniversary work entirely fir the '84 car. Same as the 2014 c7 was supposed to be the ME... They din't toss the design...they just refreshed it.
                5) they put a power plant in that "would have been" great at the time but would NEVER have been implemented from the factory.

Silly really and not well executed.
Again, appreciate the work and effort but not really a stellar job or concept. You could tell the GM guys and the Count were all reaching to complement the thing...

I do like the Peter Max found Corvettes. I've met him... strange dude! ; )

                Just my opinion...

Interesting that Zora hated the split window!

                Here is the 1983 Corvette...
                Project completed 27 seconds... ; )

I saw the show last night, FVS you a right about everything!!! Never would have been made by GM. A split window??? Really...I guess if you want to pay 250-350K for some publicity and can get the Count to chime in the History channel will be happy to air it for you. Maybe they will start selling episodes to be aired on eBay.

^^^ Exactly. Split window... in 1983?! Neva happen.
The one piece glass rear deck. An expansion on the 64 glass. Full rear canopy. Great visibility. This WAS the innovation!
