  • No excuse needed

I don’t really need an “excuse” to take my C7 for a spin but having somewhere to actually go is a plus.

So today its 65F sunny calm and beautiful. Great day for a drive in the Corvette but where to go. Chicken Wings!! I feel like chicken wings and there is a great roadside country outfit about 20 miles away that has the best carry out chicken wings.

Enough motivation. Get my motor running, head out on the highway. Get a good ole Hot Rod Rock and Roll song blaring full blast on my 2lt stereo.

Terrific drive and 10 delicious wings! Bet there are some great excuses folks come up with to take a spin in their Corvette.

Dude, that's the best song from the 1984 album.

Here's another of my favorite Van Halen tunes for your contemplation:

P.S. I'll be unchaining my C7 in another week.

Just ten wings, that would just pi$$ me off. Twenty five for sure.

So true. In fact as of now I've only eaten five of them. I'll just have to go for more. Sounds like another C7 road trip! The wings are great. Vinegar flavored and crispy. Whats even better is the wide smooth low traffic roads I have to take to get there and back.
