  • POLL : Time spent here at MECF

Just curiously have to ask how much time you spend here a day . Me, I might be here more than a few times a day (30-up) not always expecting new C8 information all the time but just to see what the other car enthusiasts have to say .. I’ll start, 30 minuets & up , thanks

Is there a category for “way, way more than 30 minutes per day?”

You can add that if you’d like & also MOST amount a day, even though I already know that answer...

Thanks Ssscooter66, and I consequently added two more poll options. Think it is obvious how I voted. LAM: laughing at myself.

I'd say 15 - 30 minutes on average. Some days quite a bit more, some days less, or not at all.

Certainly over 30 minutes, always nice to see what other enthusiasts are saying and get the latest ME news. Besides being the total Luddite I am it takes me that long to post anything.

I'm in the way, way more category since I became a moderator. Gotta catch those spammers before they post too much of their nonsense.

I don't post all that much but I enjoy reading what others have to say.

15-30 minutes a day, but it’s the first thing I do in the morning. Might check in later in the evening. When we get our C8, nothing personal, but we might not check in for a couple of weeks

Guessing overall, many will be even more involved here right after we get ours. The C7 forum experiences was that most kept returning to the forums to learn more or to share more. Yet yes, some were never seen from again, as all spent hours in the garage just starring at our new C8’s, fussing, detailing and maybe more, and even more, many hours driving it.

But there will be so many questions we all have, e.g., is there a way to do “X”? Or sharing, I just found a shortcut to do “Y.” By then MECF will have started our official color threads, and most will post pictures of theirs in front of their favorite place, in their garage nicely displayed, out in nature or other place, so many will return to post in just those upcoming sections. Those who have not ordered, will dissect the option threads asking, “so those who bought the E60 axle front lift height system option, how often do you use it; is it worth $ X?

And as above, some will go forum extinct. But then, probably starting the 7.19.19, here will come the next round of questions, suppositions and renderings on either the HT convertible if it was not revealed the day before, or if it was, on the next coming Z06.

Which group might you Racer86 fall into? Might you be doing your garage corner weighting, then write a DIY thread teaching the rest of us how to do that?

                            Others?

I would love to continue to add C8 info as we figure it out. But, need the darn car first. I’m going to the NCM 25 Anniversary to see the C8. Hope they have one or more there.
