My intro notes to this vide, having driven a fair amount in Germany, I have nothing but accolades for how efficient German drivers are on their roads. They move more cars per hour on a two lane road (each direction), than we do on a three lane road (each direction) in America. Why, because there laws are strictly enforced, such as a $2,000+ fine if you eat or drink while driving, exhibit road rage, and you truly lose your license if you are a driving idiot. If you are not in the act of “actively passing,” you only stay in the right most open lane. And 99.999% of their drivers follow that rule, so there is room to pull out and pass in the passing lane. DUH! And when you are ready to pull out and pass into the passing lane, but you see a car faster than you approaching at a higher rate of speed, to not impede the faster car you wait until he/she has passed you before you start to pull out.
Accolades for, and more fun and safer driving experiences while we were driving in Germany.
With that said, there is humor in this video for less just say that we all agree that the average American driver is less than an A+ in their skill level. Thanks to member “DebsRedZs” for brining this video to us.
