A silver 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport. I'd go out to take a picture, but it's already dark outside. It is identical to this though. Click image for larger version Name:	2976261.jpg Views:	1 Size:	58.4 KB ID:	10855

That is a close cousin. We lived in Detroit for a decade when they mined salt under the city itself, spread it every night in winter to keep the roads travel-able, and the car turned into one pile of rust with 102,000 miles on it. It went to a junk yard in 1966.

Brand new 1965 Volvo 122S. Volvo was world rally champion at the time, so that was enough for me to buy it. I was 19 years old, paid cash .
drove it like a madman on Highway One north of San Francisco. Rolled the car over 2 times. Added rolbar, and went to SCCA drivers school in it. Passed and got my comp license, added trailer hitch to Volvo and towed my TR4 to SCCA races to all of the west coast race tracks . Sold the car with 150,000 miles on it. Rode hard and put away wet. Engine never apart. Lumpy, that was it’s name!

1977 Pontiac Trans Am Blackbird Special Edition! Got it brand spankin' new the day after my 20th birthday. I was a punkass kid the entire summer, lol... Went on to a bunch of other Trans Ams, a couple of Formulas, then stepped up to the DeTomaso Pantera I always wanted. A couple of Toyota MR2 Turbos, a 96 Corvette, an Acura NSX, and presently a Nissan Z.
Lookin' forward to a 2020 ME coupe! Torch Red, of course. Brushed or polished alloy rims, Z -51 level (if it's not stock), 2LT trim and body-colored spoilers will be just fine

What fun cars you have had Heartbeat! I like your choice of what is ahead, though I will not fight you for a Torch Red one. Not sure however, what color I will be getting. Still hoping, as per our thread, that we get to go to 12 colors.

Happy Corvette times to us all.

My first was a '39 Chevrolet coupe, no pics but I loved it. Wish I had one today. Maybe an upcoming ME will satisfy my car needs. Charlie aka cutnout

My first car was a 1960 Corvette. Bought it for 1900.00 dollars in 72 between high school and college. Drove till I got out of college and need something more dependable. Way far from stock. Had 283 with 12.5 to one compression and double pumper with 411 rear. Silver with silver blue coves.
There is a madness to my method!
