Very, very nice looking car. I especially like those wheels with your car. Looks new. Your wash/spray wax system sure has it looking very shiny!
Enjoying my Shadow gray C8. What a car it is.

Your car at 128,000 miles on it looks terrific. If I buy a black ME, it would look terrific if you are willing to repeatedly wash and detail it for me. Please. Congratulations JBsC6.

ID:	19019 Thanks guys...this car has been a fabulous ownership experience. The car is just such a pleasure toown. I get in and she goes. What more could i ask for. The 300k validation process gm puts these cars through really has paid off for them. I am a loyal gm car buyer.

they just build these things so reliably...it makes owning this 190 mph road rocket just as reliable as any other car.

many of you guys might kniw I have a 23 year old severely handicapped (autism) and i really dont have patience for a broken car...so for me...having a sports car that I can depend on for me to get from point A to point B is of utmost concern.

this corvette even over the 128kiles really does the trick. Im so enamored with gm reliability that I sold on the c8.

sure whatever needed service over the years..i just drove it in and my buddy Paul Koerner a world class gm tech took care.. easy pizzy..

i kept this one with basic mods...a air intake, a COW tune, and COW booster...(great mod by the way as it simply recreates a more linier throttle response so the vehicle is more responsive...i think it and the car reacts...i love that cow booster mod and its only two hundred dollars installed if that..

i threw the z51 black rims on that were taken off at time of delivery and i believe they create a more contemporary look..(being 19/20s)

in the wonter months i slap on a set of 18/19 grey c6 rims that I bought with snow tires..and they look good too plus allow me to get through most winter storms with ease.

Obviously when we get hit with 27 inches of snow overnight...i stay home the next day but i would do that with any car or truck...at that point the local givernment usually calls for a state of emergency anyway...

the day after Im out and about in the corvette once theyplow the roads.

i also threw in bilstein sport shocks, a mgw short throw shifter and a few interiorbits and pieces. A nice thick dsv D shapped steering wheel.and some soft leather pieces.

i had the hud installed at carlisle when they installed the steering wheel.

add in a valentine one and im good to go.

as far as maintaince? Its been the usual change of spark plugs and wires at every 50k miles, at around that time i did the shocks (which i noticed little difference if any) and i did rotors and pads) if i remember correctly i did a water pump around 70k miles, i bottomed out at trader joes parking lot once and cracked the plastic radiator probably around 90k miles...i replaced a few radiator hoses around 110k miles,,

ets see what else? I had noticed the brake pedal at start up getting soft and then becoming fine...found out my car on the tech 11 was rapunning percent lean...we changed out the brake booster and resolved both issues.

around 120k miles i had a squeek for five minutes when cold and it ended up to be a misalignment of the air conditioning belt ...being caused by a wobbling harmonic balancer...so i had them change that out with a brand (cant remember the name but it wasnt a gm part number)

i do swap out the ac delco 42 month battery every 36 months as i found as the battery ages it can create a lot of false codes. Corvettes are very dependent on steady proper voltage from the battery...usually every 36 months ill get a weird message on the DIC that says service active handling or abs when in fact its just Weak voltage from the battery. Swap out the battery and all the weird messages go away for another three years....go figure,

other than change out the oil when the dic says to...i have the dealer swap out the clutch fluid every two years...just as preventative maintaince..

i recently had new updated foam in the seats so they had a little buffer to keep the metal of the seat from cutting into the foam...seats are like new new,

as far as exterior maintaince? Its a twelve minute wash and spray wax each week...the car is always garaged at night and once every six months i hit the car with a griots oribital polisher as well as some products i picked up from detailer domain...

these days im using a one step product but fir years i used Adams three step..

this is my first and last black car...looks awesome, glad i got to own one...and yes the c8 would look bad @$$ in black...but my c8 is going to be torch red with a black interior....i miss torch red so i believe thats the color im getting....but of course i have to see the car in production form to decide..

zero to sixty in four seconds, 190 mph top speed, 1.0 lateral cornering g,s...roof off all summer long...

this inexpensive sports car from day one has been a joy...

I remember it was the week before thanksgiving 2007 .....i needed a car..(i had just blown the motor in my z06 and the same day so,d it to ecs down in cream ridge over the phone. They came the next morning with a flatbed and cash )so that day i called kerbeck who had this ls3 z51 manual with npp in stick. I told him give me 10 percent off and pay for half my rental car and ill be down in three hours with a check..i stopped by the bank picked up a certified check drove down in a rental and the kerbeck saleman picked me up at the atlantic city enterprise rental car within minutes of arriving..l drove back the dealership. Handed over the check, signed a few paoers and off i went..

best three or four hour drive back home ever...

i will be honest every time i take the drive home in a new corvette...this being my third new one...its awesome.

i fully expect the drive home in the c8 to be the coolest drive home ever.

cant wait although i will be saddened to see such a reliable corvette as this black one go...

i never loved this corvette as much as my 485 hp cam, headers gears c5 z06...that I got rid of with 65k miles....but as far as reliable good looking and fast...this black one has served me very well...

The c6 z51 manual only does 4 flat to sixty and a 190 mph top speed...

been a hell of a car...

its been so good to me...i really hope I can find a young person who is starting out to buy this car from me for cheap after my c8 comes in...

this c6 has been so good , so reliable i actually feel good that it would go to someone who would get a banging deal and an amazing sports car..

a few of the trainers at lifetime gym have been eyeballing it and asking me when im getting a new corvette...i think they are plotting and planning for the big giveaway...

illprobably end up selling this car after the c8 comes in for a grand sum of $15 grand...lol which Considering how awesome this car has been is a great price...whatever it tends to go for is fine with me...

that new torch red with black interior c8 z51 dct with mrc and dct has my name on it..l
