There was a thing I read a few months ago listing driver salaries, and his was substantially less than Verstappen. Something like $6M vs $10M which seems like a slap in the face to Danny. I'm seeing a number as much as $35M at Renault. They showed him the money.

All his interviews and stories are pretty coy about the salary. As though it doesn't matter. Anyone have better numbers?

Riccidardo is GBP 4.6M and Verstappen is GBP7.6M Hamilton GBP40M. Verstappen somehow has a progressive contract where he gets paid more as the season progresses. But yes, the rumors are that Ricciardo just got a huge raise to $35M . <but it's not about the money> The other thing to consider is that while there is a disparity in base salaries between VerCrashing and Ricciardo, their sponsorship deals are far from on par, with Ricciardo making more in sponsorships (rumor)
