No, he drove a Honda-powered IndyCar. When someone gives you a ride that qualifies for the Indy 500, you don't care what it is.

And the engine manufacturers are in different team’s Dallara chassis. There are Ganassi Hondas, McLaren Chevys, Andretti Hondas and Penske Chevys just to name a few.
