While most of us will use a battery protection package (“ERI”), if there is ever a need for battery access, thanks to Jeremy Welborn, we have some HQ pictures as to how it would be accessed.
First picture from 7.18.19 reveal night is a great picture showing how deep the frunk is; that is a ClubGlove airline carry on bag (13.5”) on its side within it, but also surprising at how much room remains above it, e.g.,also room to include a gear bag and a backpack too.

Also nicely shown is where the battery maintainer would attach to and its LED light.

With all that as an intro, thanks Jeremy Welborn for these excellent pictures you took as part of the C8 mobile dealership tour earlier this week, showing how the GM rep was hooking up continuous-charging to the car (constrain battery demand with thousands getting into/out-of the car all day long). Thanks Jag!

One of the first things I noticed is that the access covering is not side-to-side symmetrical in terms of how it needs to be removed/replaced. Therefore, to remove/re-install the battery access panel, the very different, front-corner extreme corner attachments make it clear which end must be removed first, with the opposite end needing to be initially re-attached for the panel’s re-install.
