They really need model years on that list. No way to know exactly what model set a given time.

I am going in November for the C8z06 class. This will be my fourth or fifth time there. Can’t wait!

True, though to know that anyone can set a new time, adding theirs into that site, and also that the Home car is a 2023 C8 Z06, and the # 2 car is a 2019 ZR1 is still very important.

Agree that there are a lot of applies and oranges comparisons, and no way to evaluate without MY.

It's human to be interested in what we own/owned, and for me I wanted to see a 911 Turbo S on the list. The S has quite a bit more power and torque, 640HP for the Turbo S vs 572 for the Turbo in 2023.

Just need one of each Porsche to run that Spring Mountain section and post on FastestLaps.

The Radical loop at Spring Mt. is challenging. During my first visit there in 2006, the then owner took me out for several laps in his Radical. That was a holy s..t experience. For those who don't know what that loop is named for, below is a Radical race car pic.

A lot of Radical owners and Spring Mt. garage owners keep their cars there, and that loop is usually not used for Corvette schools.

Also, with "unknown" drivers the skill level from one car to another may vary greatly. The 911 Turbo, as just one example, might be much faster in the hands of whoever drove the Z06 than whoever actually drove it.

I thought the C6 ZR1 was factory rated at 632HP.

12c was factory rated at 592 with a later power update to 616, but pretty impressive considering it came out in 2012, would like to know what tires though since that is the great equalizer.

Excellent point. No way to know and it can make a huge difference.

                          Somewhat related:

C8 Z06/7 time on the Corvette National Museum Motor Sports Park Track?

All I could find were vids of Andy Pilgrim clocking Porsche "GT" car on the track. That is for recent stuff of hard driving of serious performance cars on the track. There are a few vids posted on uTube by tour drive customers driving the C8 Z06 on that track. Did not see anything of a professional level driver with the C8 Z06 on that track.

There is one with Andy Pilgrim driving the GT 2 RS that seems to suggest that it shows the record run for the track by that car. Two minutes and two or three seconds. Seems like a salient void with C8 Z06/7 cars made across the street.

The GT2 may have been modded , not sure.

Unfortunately those are old tests, that's from an article Road & Track did for the C6 Z07 & ZR1 back in 2012. If you click the times on the website it takes you to the source information:

                            Z07:
                            https://fastestlaps.com/tests/35d12n8g83hs

                            ZR1:
                            https://fastestlaps.com/tests/tauac9gge6sn

As for NCM a guy I tracked with there recently posted a video of him taking the first few sessions in his C8 Z07, I'll dig them up and post them. He's a great driver but they're just track day times, no track records there!

Yeah Automobile Mag was using it for some of their testing but since they folded in 2020 I wouldn't expect many more professional published times at NCM. In the meantime, here's a fun video of a new Z07 there for a track day:
