    IMSA at Virginia International Raceway....... Anyone going?

    Just got my tickets for the IMSA Michelin GT Challenge at VIR for Aug 17 to 19. Anyone else going ???

    As we have a vacation home at Smith Mountain Lake, VA which is only an hour and a half away, I'll just be going for the race on Sunday. Also got into the Corvette Corral.

    Looking forward to it !!!

      i'm not going but I'll be watching. Never miss a race. Hopefully the new BoP adjustments will continue to let the C7.Rs run free.

        I, along with some other folks from my club, was planning to go, but we waited too long and there aren't any rooms available anywhere nearby. #SAD. Will plan ahead better next year!

          Bob, sorry you missed out on the hotel rooms....... as I said, if it weren't for our lake home just an hour and a half away, I wouldn't be able to go either. I'm only going for the Sunday race.

          Perhaps I'll bump into you at Ocean City this Oct. Last year, I was parked just a row over from you for the boardwalk parade. Talked with Norm several times though....
