Thank you JB. What a fun memory lane Corvette. If my wife and I had not been then saving for the upcoming C7, especially as we had a C6 Z06 at that time, we would have jumped for this one.
2023 Z06: Elkhart Lake Blue, 2-tone blue interior, HTC, Standard Z06 with Z07 aero pkg, CCB’s, 3LZ, E60, every visible carbon fiber option including wheels, Jake Design Pkg. Lifetime, annual contributors, and 25 year NCM members. Home is the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Thanks JB, never seen that video. I would have to agree a very special car for sure. They are also fairly rare with only 2,552 - 427 Vettes produced.
With the carbon fiber front end, ZR1 Frame, and 7 Liter Engine (naturally aspirated) really make this a very special vehicle. I absolutely love the one I have and it is awesome to drive and feel that engine bass response. I would suggest anyone looking for a nice collector vehicle pick one up as they are becoming scarce. Here is mine.

That looks awesome! In one of
my favorite colors no less torch red!

the one for sale that I saw has 36k miles and they are asking 61k

white with the blue convertible top
            and silver stripes

I prefer your torch red version better but both are awesome

Here's the fully loaded 427 we had back in 2013. Another one of our former Vettes I wish I could have back.....

This C6 427 actually had a higher MSRP than our 2020 Z51 3LT C8 ! But of course, back then, there were nice discounts too.

I sold mine a couple of years ago...it was a sad day. WONDERFUL CAR! I preferred it over my C7s, and it was not until my C8 that I found a modern Corvette that I enjoyed more.
'64 Silver Grey Coupe (custom paint)- still our favorite
                  '13 White/Blue Diamond 427 60th roadster - favorite late model
                  Several others including two C7's

'20... Zeus Bronze Coupe, 2LT, GT2 seats, Natural two tone, Body color accents, Pewter wheels- 10/1/20😀 GAME CHANGER

Greatest: GM's Range Of LS V8s

It's no secret that GM's range of LS engines are some of the best V8 engines ever produced, and they're also some of the few naturally-aspirated engines that'll last you a lifetime. But one LS engine stands out from the rest, the LS7.

Found in the C6 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and the fifth-generation Camaro Z/28, not only was the LS7 a great-sounding and tried-and-tested reliable muscle car engine, but it remains one of the most powerful naturally aspirated engines in existence. With a displacement of 423 cubic inches (7.0 liters), the LS7 had 505 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. In the real world, this was enough to give the C6 Z06 enough strength to muster past 195 mph.
