  • C1 - C6 Special Pictures

So many outstanding C1 - C6's. Do you have one? If so, please post a picture(s), and if so, we would love to read it/your backstory. Or a picture of one you always coveted?

If you did not take the picture, please post its source if you know it.

A '63 split, in Sebring Silver, with factory 4 speed, air, and 340 HP was the first Corvette I ever got a ride in. [Picture from bringatrailer.] And the most memorable ride while in college was in a friend’s 1967 big block convertible (picture thanks to Rambling Around).
2023 Z06: Elkhart Lake Blue, 2-tone blue interior, HTC, Standard Z06 with Z07 aero pkg, CCB’s, 3LZ, E60, every visible carbon fiber option including wheels, Jake Design Pkg. Lifetime, annual contributors, and 25 year NCM members. Home is the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Here is my C4 that still gets a run at least twice a week.

      I always liked the two-color option for 1984 & 1985!

I have mentally toyed with, if it would work on the ME, doing parts of its hood, roof and rear deck in black to complement the rest of the car in yellow — yes, I am yellow and black addicted (started that the new with my custom painted 1969 Triumph Bonneville). An artist friend, member Steve Ray (the amazing airbrush specialist) will do some renderings before we seriously decide whether that is an option to further consider.

I've tried to upload some pics but am getting the size limit error. Will wait for the problem to be resolved and try again.

Thank you Brad; we are working on that — as well then preparing a revised “How To Post A Picture Thread.” Hopefully tomrorow.

If there is one picture of an early Corvette that emotionally will always speak to me, it is one reminding me of my magical first Corvette ride —. in a 1963 Sebring Silver, split window. It was brand new, with 340 HP, factory air and a 4 speed. (Picture thanks to bringatrailer.)

That is a perfect car for your forum name Darth Vetter — or is it the reverse. I double-clicked on your thumbnail picture to see it extra large, and you car is an absolute knock out. CONGRATUALTIONS on owning your stunner.

My 2002 Z06 for the 4th of July parade. Had since it was new. It still makes me smile even after all these years.
Looking forward to the 2020 ME Corvette.

What you posted, is the key, that whatever Corvette we are fortunate enough to own, makes us happy, or as I think of it, miles of smiles.

Great job OnPoint, building interest in the Corvette for the next generation. Exactly what we need for another 7 generations of Corvettes to come!
