One particular owner from Florida asked TS Designs to apply its widebody kit to their Corvette Convertible. Nothing unusual about that; quite the contrary, as the beefier fenders do make the Vette look meaner.

Built in collaboration with Forgiato, the widebody kit comes in handy if you wish to replace the Corvette’s standard wheels with massive aftermarket rims. In this particular case, the owner went for a set of staggered Forgiato GTRs, sized 20 inches at the front and 22 at the back.

I like this car, but if it were mine, I would have gone with black wheels. What about you?

I like it all gold inclusive of the wheels. But, then again I am not fond of black wheels. The calipers need to be gold as well. It will be interesting to see what becomes of the C7s in custom shops in the future.

Pretty scary. Should be noticeable on the road. Wouldn't sell any GLD for it.

"Interesting" is one word for it. Mine are quite that charitable.

I used to occasionally see an all chrome Lamborghini around here.

As long as the owner likes the look, I'm happy for him. I will say that with 20" and 22" wheels, he should go for bigger brakes - the big wheels make the standard brakes look wimpy (even though they have great stopping power).

I bet the 20" and 22 wheels don't work too well on that car. I was gonna ask if it can be driven.

Interesting is a very good word. Either gold wheels or a gold car IMO.

Thanks German. I had not noticed before that the brakes do look too small with its bigger wheels.

OK? But the news here is that is not a wide body it is base car. Might be for some but not for me!

Reminds me of the James Bond movie, Goldfinger. Villian Auric Goldfinger smuggled gold across countries, but how? Answer- He had a vintage Rolls Royce limo, and would fit it with 24 carat bodywork before shipping it to his next destination.
