Lots of stuff in that C7! I found out about #7 with an arm full of groceries when I tried to load them thru the open window. The alarm will sound even with your key fob in your pocket.
One I didn't see on Tux's list: You cannot lock your key fob inside the car. I tried to lock my key fob in my C7 and couldn't. No matter where I placed the fob inside, the car would unlock when I closed the door. I don't know if there is a way to disable this feature.
The horn will honk three times if you leave your fob in the car and close the door after you exit even if you don't lock it.Last edited by Boomer; 06-01-2019, 03:12 PM. -
On a convertible, valet mode also locks the trunk.
