  • Trade in 14 C7 Base for c6 z06

So I’ve had my c7 about a year now and I love the car. It’s got plenty of power the interiors great and ride quality is fantastic. Now I have been wanting to do bolt on but reason 1 I don’t want to do it is because everything seems a little more complicated on an lt engine and reason 2 is it’s just too new for me to mess with. I’ve been toying with the idea of trading this one in for a c6 z06 to do my bolt ons too and continue to kinda daily. I do have a truck I drive whenever I don’t want to drive the vette so the second car is always an option. Also by doing so my car payments will drop about 250 a month or so so I’ll be saving money also. What would you guys do if you had a c7 base but wanted to mod it and maybe get into something faster?https://discord.software/ fetLife itunes

If you have a roadster, I'd sell in and buy a nice C6 60th 427....however, that probably wouldn't get you to a lower expense, as 427's are selling around 45 to 48K.
'64 Silver Grey Coupe (custom paint)- still our favorite
    '13 White/Blue Diamond 427 60th roadster - favorite late model
    Several others including two C7's

'20... Zeus Bronze Coupe, 2LT, GT2 seats, Natural two tone, Body color accents, Pewter wheels- 10/1/20😀 GAME CHANGER

The 60th 427 is so worth it!

One thing I absolutely love about the 60th 427 (and truly there are many, many things to love), is its Midnight Blue interior. That blue is supposedly returning with the 2020 C8, though paired with the very light/bright Tension Blue. That could be a winning combo if the colors are in the right areas/proportions.

You can get a C6 Z06 pretty cheap. Easy to get 500 rwhp with headers and intake and tune and being lighter weight a key figure in the Hp vs weight formula. Go for it!

The 60th anniversary edition interior color is actually "Diamond Blue" and I also love it!

Thanks jsmatt for that correcting info. Diamond Blue it is. Which now gets me to question whether the leaked new interior of Twilight Blue/Tension Blue (option code 4JE ), has the same beautiful blue of Blue Diamond, is it different, or is it again again re-naming a color yet having it be identical, or it just being fractionally different?

With that option code being my initials, do you suppose it is meant to be for my C8?

Which leads to another questions (as our minds minutely dissect every morsel during this waiting period, and that is every interior option code for the C8 starts with the number “4.” Is that GM subliminally suggesting that every interior of the C8 is a step up from every C7 interior, even above the “3” level ones. Or just coincidence?

Put your car up for sale and see what offers you actually get for it. If the offer comes in that you can live with? Sell the car.

i bet when the offer comes in you say screw it...im keeping the car...

                jmo

if you get the offer your willing to take...itll be easy to figure out what to buy next.
