  • C7 Z06 A8 with 2300 Heartbeat

Did this package first on a 2015 Z06 M7 with just the Halltech intake, ARH 2 inch coated with cats and the 2300 with the standard 80MM upper stock lower.
Did 672 rwhp on a Mustang dyno on 92 pump gas. Car runs cooler oil and water temps gets better MPG and out does the new stock 2019 ZR1 on the dyno plus weighs less.

So impressed I did the same mods to a 2017 A8 only now use the ZR1 throttle body as well as the same other mods. Put my stock 2017 lt4 blower and stock exhaust and intake parts on the 2015
which may be sold. I bought another M7 maybe the last 2018 C7 Z06 and added the mods off the 2015 to the 2018.

The A8 did 650/650 rwhp/rwtq and it just a blast to drive it is super quick. Weighs 3450 with a half tank of fuel. So it is pretty light. Car will run 9 second 1/4's easy with proper rubber.

This is hard to beat and not real expensive and is easy to do. The key is the tune must be done professionally. The insides of the 2300 show it is a game changer with better desige than the GM blowers with a straight through design and better intercoolers that do not tie to the case and are not in direct contact with the case so they cooler better by no having the convection heat from the case.

Clearly they run cooler than the ZR1 or the Z06 C7 stock blowers. Click image for larger version Name:	1027181524.jpg Views:	0 Size:	775.7 KB ID:	35092

Notice the silicone seal around the 2300 intercooler preventing contact where GM bolts them to the case causing more heat to the ITA.

Oh yea. Piece of cake I'm sure. I'm always amazed with the KSAs (knowledge, skills, abilities) some folks have when it comes to this stuff. I'm not even sure what I'm looking at when I open the hood of my C7. Impressive!!!

The Lt4 is much better suited than the Lt1 for the forced induction. It is harder to do and a slightly different set-up. Higher cost as well I would go the to Z06 then do it.
I boosted my Lt1 had a poor result and took a loss on the sale. Bought the Z06 instead didn't look back.

They give you a 45 page color instruction book covering step by step. Takes about 12 hours the first time and gets easier the next time.
The most impressive thing is the increased power while enjoying the cooler temps. The 2300 sheds the heat better. IMO better blower than anything GM makes.

Just weighed the A8. It has headers and the 2300 and Cup wheels all reduce weight from stock it weighed 3500 pounds full of gas. On my scales.
