Those look good. Too bad there's a typo on there.

I still hope that this is more than special paint, perhaps also the driver’s name autographed on the console armrest and/or embroidered into the seat headrest area. And of course the same rear fascia decals we have seen on the C7. R’s fasciaI hope.

But if not, my absolutely initial and wildest guess, is that this will goose sales around 1,000 units total, and thus to me, again unless we get some additional, beyond appearance components this Friday at their reveal, that we could still be a 2020 SR/GS/.Z06 refresh, with the ZR1 continuing also — for maybe a six month period. Of course, that is again based on nothing — just extreme conjecture.

I wouldn't call this a leak, John. Clearly it is an authorized advertisement from GM and released by Daytona. I'm afraid this is a dedicated ad for 4 cars with fancy decals.

For a GM press release, I can't believe the lack of quality..... 3 spelling errors!!! The PR department should be embarrassed.

Am I the only one who thinks that this may be a way for dealers to 'dress up' some of their unsold C7 inventory with stripes and an interior sticker on the console in hopes of generating some sales??? I guess if it helps dealers move some wheels during the slow selling winter months, then it's a stroke of genius.

Unfortunately, I was hoping for something more substantial.

By the way, notice that there was no indication of the 2019 model year being the last of the C7's.....
2020 HTC Torch Red with lots of goodies. Built in September. Museum Delivered in October......

Those are some nice color combos.

I've always been a fan of the silver on blue combination. https://www.stingrayforums.com/forum...html#post43653

I'll be curious to see the red on black combination up close, as it's apparently got a unique red stripe along the roof (and back?) of the car, in addition to the red stinger.

So, color and sticker combos, and a plaque. And you could already order the colors and stripes if you wanted that combo, so really it amounts to a plaque. Color me not excited.

However was this announcement a deliberate “half-presentation” and we find that each one of the GS’s has more than most are now thinking. I think it is premature to preclude nothing but visual stuff.

Looks like stripes, colors and a sticker. BIG nothing burger. Pathetic.

Possibly, but it does say "Full GS equipment," which I read as nothing extra.

i have read that phrase two ways. First that it has every single GS option and no more; or, second that it has every single GS option, plus these three or five more that “we will share only at Friday’s reveal but not yet” — to keep some surprises for Friday.

We all agree that they will be option loaded!

GM will not tell us this Friday, nor even if they spruce up and then reveal a 2020 C7 at the NCM Bash in later April, that that is the end of the C7 line. Not how they do things. Only when the C8 is officially revealed, if that is the end of the C7 (which I personally believe it will be), will they announce that that is the last of the C7 generation.

                            • Black with red hood vent and red stinger graphic: Oliver Gavin
                            • Arctic White with Long Beach Red full-length body stripe: Jan Magnussen

And in a nice touch, still under wraps, even the option codes for the four different versions tie very nicely each of the driver’s names.

I still think there is more to this than we have yet seen...

They look nice thoughI wouldnt buy one.

maybe gm will offer the so called LT2 powerplant as a surprise?

im glad its not the flat grey with orange trim and that huge rear wing...

its kind of cool on the c7 zr1 since its got 755 hp ...but with 500 or less hp i prefer not to see that huge rear wing...

its fitting for the 755hp outrageous zr1

                              thanks for posting this up...

good luck to gm to see these special editions.
