The c7 is awesome...especially in grand sport and z06 trim.

smoking the competition even in its final year of production...

even though the c7 is beautiful in its own right...i sometimes wonder if gm should have maintained the hard points and tried an update to its styling...

my only concern would have been...i cant imagine how they could have improved upon it...

what camaro stylists did with the sixth gen camaro was or actually has not been positively recieved...after its mid cycle refresh...

with that in mind..i guess leaving the styling of the c7 aline probably made more sense...

im still wondering about the move to raise pricing...

just had to be to get older inventory sold off first....making them 500 to 2500 less expensive than ordering a new prodiction version..

all that said..there isnt a day that goes by where i at least consider buying a c7 z06 ...

i guess that delay in introducing the c8 is another masterful move by GM?

maybe thats why they have over six decades of success with the corvette brand..

Porsche cayman and boxster T models land in the sixties...

zero to sixty mph in 3.6 seconds with the pdk...

sounds like a formidable comparision test in the making....although road course track times from car and driver itself show the more powerful s versions of these two porsches quite a bit slower around the track than the similiarly priced grand sport..

hard to say id ever chose the german brand over the corvette....

will the c8 leapfrog the porsche competitors in one fell swoop yet again?
