Hey guys, I could use some advice on the car and where to take it from here. I’d also like to know the best place to take the car, we actually got a nail in it and as these are run flat tires we drove it to a local discount tires and they actually took care of us for free.
The tires for this car are standard Michelin Pilot Sport tires front: P285/30ZR19 and rear P335/25ZR20.
A quick search yielded roughly $400 per front tire and $517 each for a rear tire for a grand total of $1,832 with free shipping from tirerack.com. Are there any better options on getting these tires for cheaper?
The car has almost 9,000 mile on it. My dad wants to know the tire life expectancy and what he can expect to pay for new tires and install on his C7Z 2LZ.
I’ve seen others saying the tires last 15-18k miles depending on how you drive, is this accurate?
What should be expected in terms of cost for installing a new set and where should this be done? I’ve heard people taking it and to people who don’t know what they’re doing and scratching the rims all up. Thanks!
