C8 Section Re-Organization, With Our New “Mid Engine Exterior/Interior Pictures, Videos and Renderings” Section

MECF members asked for our segregating pictures, renderings and videos into one area; looking ahead, that section will become our most viewed area once you get your C8’s. Pre-existing threads that fit are now being moved. Thank you for the suggestion!

As beautiful as the c7 is....quite accurately its been stated that with a composite body especially...changes to the look should have been made to the styling two years ago...

the plant shutdown for the oaint booths should have allowed for the composite body panels to be dramatically altered while maintaining hard points.

it would have been relatively inexpensive and could have bought another year or two of stronger sales

      oh well...

looking forward to the revolutionary c8.

        Another spot on post JB!
So many questions about the ME right now, but the answers are nicely, though slowly, coming out.

Excited owners of a 2015 Z06. Lifetime, annual contributors, and 20 year members of NCM. Our 2020 ME C8 Corvette is next.

Thinking positive, the pricing discounts that are here now are wonderfully large. Couple that with one terrific C7 generation, going to be lots of happy buyers for them.

The flip side, i suppose, is that at a rumored price of $1 million per molding machine, one per body panel, it's probably hard for GM to justify that investment for a run of just a couple or 3 years. That's why I kind of limited my ideas to front and rear fascia.

On a related note, I got a mailer from a local Chevy dealer offering something like $6,000 (or was it $9,000) in cash if I'd trade in my '15 on a new one. But no real reason to.
